Diana Bocsa
Diana, also known as DU, grew up in a great Christian family in Romania. Her relationship with Jesus started when she was very young, but she completely gave her heart to Him when she was 14. In 1998, she went to an English camp and was challenged to pray for her non-Christian friends and share the Gospel with them. That English camp was her first contact with Josiah Venture. Soon after, she got involved in the youth ministry of the church she was attending in Arad. In 2001, she clearly understood her calling to work with teenage girls. Today she lives in Arad, leading a small group of girls and is involved in the youth ministry of the church she attends, Metanoia. She is also investing in and working with young women from different regions in Romania who are discipling girls throughout the country under the umbrella of BIG (Josiah Venture’s partner organization in Romania).

Titus & Anca Pastean
Titus started working with Josiah Venture through BIG (JV’s partner organization in Romania) in September, 2007. Before that, he volunteered for the organization and helped found its youth track. After finishing the pastoral theological studies in Bucharest in 1996, he started to work as a youth pastor in two different churches in his town. During that time, Titus discovered his passion for the young generation of leaders in Romania. Currently, Titus coordinates the partnership BIG has with an organization called Crown Financial Ministries in order to promote Biblical principles about finances. He and his wife, Anca life in Sofronea with their children, Khara and Kharis. He served as the youth pastor from 2003-2005 in their local church in Timisoara (“Vox Domini” Baptist Church). Presently, he is on the coordinating team for launching a new church out of “Vox Domini”.

Vasil Eugen (Gelu) & Rodica Paul-Faina
Gelu and Rodica, along with their children, Ioana and Jonathan have been serving with BIG (Josiah Venture’s partner organization in Romania) since its beginning in early 2000. They joined the JV family in 2006. Gelu is the Strategic Coordinator and the President of Josiah Venture Romania (BIG or Churches with Global Impact). In this role, he heads two executive ministry teams. One of the teams brings together the networks BIG is empowering in Romania, such as the Youth Ministry Network, Senior Pastors’ Network, College Students’ Network, Women in Ministry Network, and a Network serving the Next Generation of Women. The other ministry team provides strategic services for Romanian leadership such as the BIG 5 School of Leadership, Global Leadership Summit, Crown-Financial Partnership, and Advanced Theological Seminars. Rodica is the President of Estera Foundation, a Romanian Crisis Pregnancy Center facilitating the birth of more than one hundred babies every year in Timisoara since 1999. They live in Timisoara, where Gelu is also serving as the Strategic Coordinator of Vox Domini Baptist Church.
