Great Night in Atlanta

What a great city Atlanta is! While parking is a bit tricky (at least that’s what people told us!) and we got started a bit late, we liked it here! We especially enjoyed our time catching up with lots of old friends – especially people who have served in JV over the years.

It was a bit like “old home week” seeing Desnoyer’s, Amy Lawlor, Leann (with her cute baby!), friends from Northpoint and many, many others. There were even people here that some of us hadn’t seen in twenty years! Wow…we love how these vision nights have given us the chance and reason to connect with so many great people from our lives.

Again, it was great night of testimonies and sharing our heart for the youth of Eastern Europe. Seemed like people were really engaged in what we shared, and we had conversations with people until late in the night.

Because of that, it was a short night – only about 2 hours of sleep for most of us. We had to be up and out of the hotel by 4 AM this morning, at the airport by 5 and on a plane to Canada at 6!! We’re in Hamilton, Ontario now setting up for tonight’s vision night where we expect a good crowd.

Thanks so much for your prayers for us…please don’t stop! While we’re energized by the things we’re sharing, and people we’re connecting with, this is quite a demanding schedule. Pray that we’ll continue to walk closely with the Lord, be gracious to each other, and keep our eyes on the task the Lord has for us in these days.

Loving this!!
